Intensive “Boot Camp” for Body Art Pros at Smyrna’s Southeast Tattoo Workshop
Smyrna, Ga.— (July 9, 2014) In the ever-evolving world of body art, Smyrna’s Southeast Tattoo Workshop has created an intensive, collaborative curriculum to keep students on the cutting edge of the industry. The hands-on, two-week workshop for body art professionals explores the latest creative techniques and covers topics from tattooing history to modern safety and business practices.
“The Atlanta area has always been at the top of the wave in body art, and we’re excited to share the latest tips and trends in the industry,” said Jeffrey Ned. “This workshop is open and collaborative, but taught by innovative professionals and structured to inspire and empower body artists of every experience level.”
Taught by instructors with over 15 years experience in the industry, the two-week body art “boot camp” gives students from throughout the Southeast an opportunity to share creative ideas and trends, and work on artistic technique. For the many expected out-of- state students, room and board options are available.
Art training includes stencils, style and flow technique, lines, script and flash, black tones, and highlights. Safety topics discuss blood borne pathogens, workstation prep, and aftercare. Instruction includes the business end as well, covering machine setup/breakdown and operational procedures.
The Southeast Tattoo Workshop will showcase their facilities, classroom content, and instructors with a free Open House on Mon., July 21, 2014 from 5 to 7 p.m., at 2483 Maner Road SE in Smyrna. The program is sponsored by Southeast Tattoo Supplies. For more information, call (404) 532-9919 or visit www.southeasttattooworkshop.com.
